Well done guys! I think many of you who wrote were uncomfortable writing a poem, or it was even the first time you had tried. I think poems are quite misunderstood, and many people think they have to be some kind of incredible work of rhyming art. Actually all a poem is one of the finest ways to express how we feel about something, poetry really is the expression of our emotions and as such we are able to throw away most of the rules we have about writing. In fact, writing poems is the easiest thing to do because you can pretty much write anything and it can be a stroke of genius without obeying any rules ;-)
Maybe I should have written that before! ;-)
With that said, the response was wonderful, as always with you guys. I really appreciate how you all push yourselves and write such open, deep and beautiful posts. As some of you may know, i dont often award prizes.. mainly because to me it always taints the experience.. im not very fond of the capitalistic model of doing things!

I saw the trees sway from side to side in harmony with the bees
The birds chirped beautiful songs and the animals wondered in the beauty of the fields
The streams ran down the hills as if they fell from the sun's cheek
And there was i, standing in the midst of all that lit
In harmony, we all could fit.
Clean was the sea
The fishes you could see
Pure was the air,
the freshness was clear.
We enjoyed all these bare, with no fear
but this dream was rare.
My hope takes me there
And I don't fear because i dare.
When i dared, i realized the future was near
which is why i care.
This are just a few lines i could put together to share about my hope for the future.
Hope is what keeps me alive and it's my hope for a better future that inspires me to keep doing what i do.
The future is bright, the future is green.

My Heart waits Hopefully for those little miracles in life
The Joy of little things that keeps my spirit alive
The Hope that keeps me going through the difficult times
And filling up my Heart with happiness of finer things in life.
The hope that reminds me that after every dusk there is a dawn
And strengthening my faith that the dark clouds will soon fade
No matter how troubled my days are;
the hope assures me that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel;
Life is filled with uncertainties
but the hope is the only thing that keeps me going
The hope for a better tomorrow
