As a Social Media platform, contrarary to many people's belief that they are time wasting and unproductive mediums, instead steemit have many plus points in one way or another. It brings some posts from across the globe with invaluable knowledge and ionformations.
And also for many, who really wishes to expand their field of creativity, steemit gives you an excellent platform with many getting acknowledgement from the peers in their fields and some times with a monetary reward in the form SBD and Steem.

If anyone need a proof for the above, myself is the best example. Though I have the habit of reading little bit I always hates poems, never tried to read it ever - even the one's in my local language but @ecotrain and its community forced me to change its approach and here is my first one.
My poem on the subject HOPE, I know this may nowhere near to call it as a poetry and never intended for even considering on the last place among contests, but I loved the pressure inside me to scribble few lines which eventually I would like to call as a Poem. Now I leave to my fellow steemiens to say something on it. A word with million Dreams
A word with million Emotions
And we call it as Hope
Dark may turns to Brightness
Rainbows may appear among Clouds
Worst may changes to Best
My lonliness is a thing of Past
My troubles are always Solvable
My life sings the tune of love in every Breath
