welcome to the seventh part of our round trip on the Island of Corsica which takes us to the south west coast of Cap Corse.Hallo Steemit,
willkommen zum siebten Teil unserer Rundreise über die Insel Korsika, welche uns in den Nordwesten des Kap von Korsika führte.
South of Pino - the end point of stage 6 - the picturesque Marine de Giottani is situated.
Südlich von Pino, dem Endpunkt von Teil 6, liegt die malerische Marine de Giottani.
The bay is located west of Barrettali. We drove on the D80 to the south, always along the coast.
Die Bucht liegt westlich von Barrettali. Wir fuhren dann weiter auf der D80 nach Süden, immer an der Küste entlang.
After a few kilometers the road directly past a former asbestos factory.
Ein paar Kurven weiter führt die Straße direkt an einem ehemaligen Asbest-Werk vorbei.
The bays south of the opencast mine are dominated by gray rocks. It is supposedly not harmful to health, but even the color does not really invited us to bathing. In the foreground of the image the Bay of Albo is located, in the background you see the long beach of Nonza.
Die südlich von dem Tagebau gelegenen Buchten sind von grauem Gestein dominiert. Es ist angeblich nicht gesundheitsgefährdend, aber allein die Farbe lädt nicht wirklich zum Bade ein. Im Vordergrund des Bildes liegt die Bucht von Albo, im Hintergrund der lange Strand von Nonza.
The village of Nonza was built on a rock and sits 200 meters above the sea, from where you have a very good view at the gray beach, which is about 1 km long.
Die Ortschaft Nonza wurde auf einem Felsen erbaut und thront 200 Meter über dem Meer, von hier hat man einen sehr guten Blick auf den grauen Strand, der ca. 1 km lang ist.

Of course Nonza also has its tower, from which one has a very good view.
Natürlich hat auch Nonza seinen Turm, von dem man eine sehr gute Aussicht hat.
From the tower one looks down to the sea for 200 meters. If you do not like jumping, you can also use a stepped staircase with about 1000 steps to get to the gray beach.
Vom Turm aus blickt man 200 Meter hinab aufs Meer. Wer nicht runterspringen mag, kann auch eine Steintreppe mit ca. 1000 Stufen benutzen, um zum grauen Strand zu gelangen.

In the evening we reached Saint-Florent with its beautiful yacht harbor.
Am Abend erreichten wir Saint-Florent mit seinem schönen Yachthafen.
A view back to Saint-Florent in the evening sun. Afterwards we drove back to our apartment in Lama.
Ein Blick zurück auf Saint-Florent in der Abendsonne. Danach fuhren wir zurück zu unserer Ferienwohnung in Lama.
