On my last day in Yakutia I will be scheduled again. This means that my day is planned by the House of Culture and I will simply take part. My companion in the shaman center brings me back to the House of Culture, but we make a little detour, which in reality is an abbreviation. Instead of driving through the city, we just go outside. And this is what it looks like:

Handwerkskunst

An meinem letzten Tag in Jakutien werde ich nochmal so richtig verplant. Das bedeutet, mein Tag wird vom Haus der Kultur geplant und ich mache einfach mit. Meine Begleiterin im Schamanenzentrum bringt mich zurück ins Haus der Kultur, aber wir machen einen kleinen Umweg, der in Wirklichkeit eine Abkürzung ist. Anstatt durch die Stadt zu fahren fahren wir einfach außen herum. Und so sieht das dort aus:

Dort angekommen darf ich mir die Vorbereitungen für eine Ausstellung anschauen. Die Kultur der verschiedenen Ethnien Jakutiens wird dort zu sehen sein, beispielhaft in deren Handwerksarbeiten. Und das ist ein Augenschmaus mit Farben und Motiven wie sie hier im Norden einmalig sind.

Die Pferdedecken nehmen einen besonderen Raum ein. Ein wenig Hintergrundwissen dazu: Jede Farbkomination hat ihren genauen Platz im großen Land, das heißt sie ist genau in eine bestimmte Region zuzuordnen. Jede Decke besteht aus 3 Teilen.

Der Tanz des weissen Kranichs, wer sie beim Tanz erschreckt, so dass sie auffliegen, wird bald sterben.

Then I pulled out of my conversations and dreams, the next trip is imminent. In the hills to the northwest of the city is another attraction that I must have seen, of course. This time the taxi can not quite carry us to the end as the road is not passable, so the last part is walking for us.

Dann werde ich aus meinen Gesprächen und Träumen herausgerissen, der nächste Ausflug steht bevor. In den Hügeln im Nordwesten der Stadt befindet sich eine weitere Attraktion die ich natürlich gesehen haben muss. Diesmal kann uns das Taxi nicht ganz hinbringen, da die Straße nicht passierbar ist, also geht das letzte Stück zu Fuß.

Natürlich kann ich nicht einfach so gehen ohne noch verköstigt zu werden. Also wird kurzerhand einer der besten Sänger verpflichtet einen rohen gefrorenen Fisch zu schneiden. Bevor dieser Post zu lange wird komme ich zum Schluß mit den glücklichen Gesichtern die mir immer in Errinnerung bleiben werden, das Lächeln Jakutiens!
