From Abakan to Kysyl in Tuva - Siberia Travel Adventure (Part 23)

From Abakan it is now the last 350 km by taxi to Kysyl in Tuva. Everything is no problem, the taxis are already prepared, only the passengers are still missing. Danger is only when the taxi is full. Since my baggage is already in the taxi I make a safety photo of the number plate and the driver, you never know. But here there are no problems and with the next train comes our last rider and it starts. The ride costs about 12 euros, and the driver tries to heat to Kysyl as soon as possible. A very nice guy with good music taste and no objections for smokers, since any of the riders smoke anyway.

Von Abankan aus soll es jetzt die letzten 350 km mit dem Taxi nach Kysyl in Tuva gehen. Alles kein Problem, die Taxis stehen schon bereit, nur die Fahrgäste fehlen noch. Gefahren wird nur wenn das Taxi voll ist. Da mein Gepäck bereits im Taxi ist mache ich sicherheitshalber mal ein Foto von dem Nummernschild und dem Fahrer, man weiß ja nie. Aber hier gibt es keine Probleme und mit dem nächsten Zug kommt auch unser letzter Mitfahrer an und es geht los. Die Fahrt kostet etwa 12 Euro, und der Fahrer versucht so schnell wie möglich nach Kysyl zu heizen. Ein sehr netter Mann mit gutem Musikgeschmack und keinen Einwänden für Raucherpausen, da sowieso jeder der Mitfahrer raucht.

Immer wieder machen wir kurze Pausen an solchen Stellen, dort werden Beeren, Gebäck und allerlei sonstiges verkauft.

Dort, hinter den Bergen liegt Tuva unser Ziel.

In the winter no salt is strewn, which would have no sense at minus 50 degrees, good to see are the sand layers in this old snow block on the roadside.

Im Winter wird kein Salz gestreut, das hätte keinen Sinn bei minus 50 Grad, gut zu sehen sind die Sandschichten in diesem alten Schneeblock am Straßenrand.
