One of my latest aircraft developments in FlightGear is the Ilyushin Il-76MD. In this post I will show you the main features in pictures, have fun!
The Scalpel Version has a mobile hospital on board, its nickname is Flying Hospital
The Ilyushin Il-76MD is meant for parachute operations and landing of military personnel, military equipment, cargoes, fuel and containers. By reinforcing its main structural elements (airframe and landing gear), the maximum takeoff weight and commercial load have been increased.
Loading 2 fire fighting trucks
120 Paratroopers are dropping from the sides and from the main cargo door
Inside there are 190 instruments, lamps and switches, all working and animated
