The requested genre for today was made by @dowithlove who asked for action movie, and my recommendation is The Raid 2 (2014) aka The Raid 2: Berandal which is directed by Gareth Evans who also made the first part, movie I've already recommended in another post 15 days ago and I said about it that was able to do something extraordinary with a very small budget of $1,1 million.
Although the second part costing 4 times more than the first I say it deserved the investment,and the director Gareth Evans made this movie even better and longer than the first one, thing which is very difficult to achieve because there are few films to be better than the first one and you have to come up with something new and creative to gain the audience's attention.
I will say below a few things about the movie and why I liked it.
The movie starts with an excellent scene which you say is from a mobster movie and in my opinion this is how it should start an action movie thing which we rarely see in Hollywood movies and here I refer to the quality of the scene.
The battle scenes are exceptional and manages to amaze you and make you love this kind of movies even if you are not so attracted to them.
Although the movie lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes he did not bore me at all thing which is difficult to achieve by a director who offered an original plot and managed to amaze the audience whenever it was needed and for me this movie is a restart to this genre which demonstrates that something new and beautiful with a smaller budget can be created and for me is one of the best action movies ever made.
I recommend this movie which must be seen by everyone if you have not seen it yet and I hope you like my recommendation and I'm curious about your opinions and your recommendations.
