📷🌇Photos & Thoughts on the Streets - For Shooting I Don't Need Any Camera

"Shooting Without a Camera" is perhaps one of the great teachings or observational "motivational additives" in the teaching of photography, and I absorbed much of this teaching during my photography course, but only in my daily practice I did achieve it with my sense of observation, curiosity and exercise of vision and the environment in which I am able to put it into practice.

In the streets and squares of downtown Recife, always at the end of the afternoon it is very easy to find small groups of gentlemen playing dominoes to spend time and talk with friends

In "Shooting Without a Camera" I'm talking about watching the scene before shooting. Remember that "mantra" that I developed in my activity as a photographer of : "Stop, Observe and Photograph"? That's what I'm talking about. But more so, I'm talking in your head before capturing that scene you already see the photo reproduced in your mind. This for someone who is not a photographer or has no interest in photography may seem crazy, but it is nothing more than the perfect exercise to exercise our vision, mind and memory.

A place to rest - On the edge of the Mauricio de Nassau Bridge

In this exercise of "Shooting Without a Camera" I have acquired some other skills and what impresses me the most is being able to shift my vision from where I am to a higher point, taking a broad view of the environment where I am inserted. I explain:

If I am on a busy avenue, I can capture in my mind the "normal" vision that is the one that we see in front of us, behind, on one side and the other, and the peripheral vision that is power as "a drone" to shift my view above the point where I am and thus see the avenue by above, analyzing the scene that I can capture if I climb in some building, tree or any high point that allows me a broad view of the place.

Photography for me is creativity, exercise to the utmost of vision (see beyond the obvious) to be daring and above all, to photograph with pleasure and joy.

Once again it was a pleasure to expose to you my thoughts and reflections 🙏

I believe that so I can quietly follow my post line on my blog that are not only photos plus my thoughts and reflections about it. I hope you enjoy it and your comments and votes are very important to me. Thank you very much for all the support received.😉👍📷
