Analyzing, observing, studying and stopping sometimes hours in front of the computer seeing the works of some famous street photographers abroad (mostly Americans or Europeans) I see how the setting, the place, the people and the compositions are different of what I as a Brazilian photographer see, meet and do here in my country. Brazil is a beautiful country, with many natural beauties and etc, but it is very difficult to have certain urban landscapes as inspiring as the Americans or Europeans find in their cities.

I stay fascinated with the traces of the streets, the people, the clothes, all the ambiance around the photo. The work of these photographers inspire me so that within the reality where I live, which is a more "hard", picturesque, rustic reality (typical and original setting of underdeveloped countries) I can with these resources at hand, make these magnificent photos that they make In their countries, but adapted to the reality that I live and see.

In spite of all these differences of environment, modes and compositions between the photography made in the "first world" (Europe, United States) and in the "underdeveloped world" (Latin America, South America) found and produced by photographers from both economic sides of the world, we have at the end several goals in common that are our tireless hunt for "souls", unique moments and compositions, for scenes that will never be repeated, for lights and shadows that when they merge become one.

I decided to start to qualify my posts where I put photos and thoughts or reflections like "Photos & Thoughts on the Streets". I believe that so I can quietly follow my post line on my blog that are not only photos plus my thoughts and reflections about it. I hope you enjoy it and your comments and votes are very important to me. Thank you very much for all the support received.😉👍📷
