So this whole crypto phase right? Well you have likely seen at least some people say, "Yea yea, it is just a fad." This is exactly what was said about computers and then the internet.
Why then is cryptography important? In World War II cryptography was use by nation state militaries to obfuscate information needed for troop movements and decision making. This same tool of course can be used by individuals today to operate freely in a digital age, and when I say "freely" I mean free of the prying eyes of others, governments and gangs alike.
Here we can explore the functionality of RSA which is one of the most widely used encryption methods on the planet right now.
