Technical and Economical
- monitored my witness node, which is running 0.19.0 and adjusted after a small hickup when HardFork 19 hit, now working ok
- adjusted my price feed bias, at 65% from 80% - seeing that more witnesses are adjusting their bias so the SBD peg will hold again (for more information - a bit technical, but useful - have a look at this post)
- kept my SBD APR at 0% - SBD is still trading way higher than expected, currently at $1.65
- increased the block size from 65,536 to 131,072, the number of transaction is rapidly increasing and a small block size may lead to losing transactions
- kept the account registration fee at $3 (I use a script called steem witness toolbox, available for free on Github, for publishing the feed price and adjusting a few blockchain props)
Community
- made a proposal for the Steemit -platform about variable power down amounts, have a look here, and please go to Github issue (link in the post) and let the devs know if this is important for you
- monitored my previous proposals for the Steemit platform: replacing the word "upvote" with "upsteem" (read the rationale here), and introducing smaller denominations to the Steem currency, up to the eighth digit (read the results of the poll here).
- updated Steem.Supply to include account information and did a consistent UI overhaul, read the changelog here
- worked more on the Steem.City project, but since I'm traveling this week, development will be slower
- started a 30 days writing challenge, in which I'm upsteeming each day, full power ($4.8-$5/vote) 3 blog posts, read the introductory post here (yes, you can still join as long as you tag your posts with #challenge30days)
Overall Position
I'm no longer a runner-up witness (not in the top 50) and I'm currently sitting at 63. If you still think I can be useful as a witness and if you want to vote for me, you'll need to add my username in the form and click "Vote" as shown in the image below:
Thanks!
