Unique way of listening to what's going on inside.

Every now and then we need to catch up with what's going on inside of us.

There are many ways to do that. Some are taking a walk in the forrest, having a cup of tea, painting or writing in your diary.
I feel that for all those things to work for us, we need a certain silence inside.
Sometimes it's so crowded in our heads that the best way to silence our mind is to move our body and release some tention before we do anything else.
But some things inside of us need a lot of peace and quiet to show their faces. I find that lying in bed in a state of half sleep is often the best way to coax them out.
Believe it or not, I get a lot of work done in bed like that. 😉😆

I'd like to take you a long on a journey to do this:

Make yourself comfortable in your safest spot in the house.
Dim the lights close the curtains or at least the sheer curtains.
You can light a candle if you like and some incense.
Make sure that you have comfortable cloths on and that you have a cozy blanket to rest under.
Make yourself a cup of calming tea before you start.
Give yourself a little foot rub with a fragrant oil.
Then lye down, close your eyes and focus on the way your breathing moves in your body and just enjoy the sensation.
Keep going until you are fully relaxed and kind of floating.
Maybe you hears some soft sounds coming from outside, just allow the sensations to float through you.
See how far you can drift off while still being present enough to pick up physical sensations.
When you have found your edge, it is time to travel inside.
Look inside you body space at what wants to show itself through sensations or images or even words.
If you create a safe space for it, your being will speak to you in the way it is most suitable for it to convey its message to you.
It's like a loving invitation that it will surely take.
Now once it is telling you what it needs to share, just let these impression flow through you in the same relaxed state.
No pushing away but no clinging either, just letting it all unfold.
When you feel your being has told you what it needed to say and you are ready to come more in to your conscious way of being again and give it a comforting, loving reaction, or even ask what it is that it needs, then you do so.
When all is exchanged within, you can stretch out your body, tense your fingers and toes and let them relax again. Make sure you come back in to your body fully, before you continue with your day to day tasks.

I hope this was helpful to you,
