Bascarsija is Sarajevo's old bazaar and the historical and cultural center of the city and a major tourist attraction. Even though I've visited Bosnia many times, I've never been to Sarajevo area so I was excited to explore this city, quite different from where my family is from. The diversity of culture and people is very interesting, especially when you walk through Bascarsija, different religions and traditions blend in together with an addition of tourists scrolling through the streets full of shops, coffee and food places and historical buildings.
So if you happen to be in Sarajevo, Bascarsija is definitely a must see - explore the streets, maybe buy some souvenirs and make sure you try coffee and cevapi with onion and kajmak. :)
