EASTERN WASHINGTON: HIGH DESERT LIFE

The weathered beauty of old Juniper trees in the high desert of Eastern Washington USA

Sagebrush and weathered old Juniper trees are what you will see the most of in the Eastern Washington Desert. This strange plant life covers more than 24,000 miles. Gardeners often consider it a dead area ,void of life. But there is much that you can see and learn here, where only the fittest of plants survive.  If you want to see the desert in bloom, visit during the spring, where it seems to spring to life. If you want to see it's survival and endurance, then venture a visit in the hot summers and you will see the plants that have adapted. Whenever you visit Eastern Washington, there is plenty of life to admire.  The desert is calling. Will you come and see?
