This month of June in Spain the high temperatures have provoked many fires all over the country. A huge amount of seats spread out the Iberian Peninsula, leaving behind uncountable burnt hectares and many families evacuated of their homes.
Llevamos un mes de junio en España donde las altas temperaturas están empezado a pasar factura en forma de incendios. Gran cantidad de focos repartidos por toda la península, dejando incontables hectáreas calcinadas y numerosas familias desalojadas de sus viviendas.
But beyond the news, I've tried to look for information about one of the sources of this fires: The Pyromaniacs.
Más allá de la noticia, he intentado buscar información sobre uno de los causantes de estos incendios: Los Pirómanos.
WHAT IS THE PYROMANIA ? / ¿QUÉ ES LA PIROMANÍA?
The pyromania is a mental disorder suffered by people without impulses control that make them cause, with no justified reason, fire for an excessive attraction to it.
La piromanía es un trastorno mental que sufren las personas que carecen del control de los impulsos que les lleva a provocar, sin un motivo justificado, incendios por una atracción desmesurada hacia el fuego.

They're people that show a huge fascination gazing at fire and the elements around it. They show a rise of tension before causing it and a release once they've done it.
Se trata de personas que muestran fascinación al contemplar el fuego y los elementos que lo rodean. Mostrando un aumento de la tensión antes de producirlo y un alivio emocional cuando ya lo han realizado.
If it's true that only a low percentage of fires are caused by pyromaniacs, given that the most of them are caused by the mix of wind and high temperatures and for the human action... Have you ever wondered how massive and terrible can the consequences of these people actions be?
Si bien el porcentaje de incendios provocados por pirómanos es mínimo, ya que la mayoría son provocados por la mezcla de vientos fuertes y altas temperaturas y las imprudencias del hombre, ¿os habéis parado a pensar las desastrosas consecuencias que puede provocar la acción de una persona con este trastorno?
As I said before, the last few days we have had two huge fires in the Iberian Peninsula. The first one in Portugal: 64 victims, 204 injured and more than 40000 hectares of woods devastated by the flames. The second one, in the surroundings of the Natural Park of Doñana: No victims, bur almost 8500 hectares burnt.
Como he dicho antes, en los últimos días hemos vivido dos grandes incendios en la Península Ibérica, el primero en Portugal: 64 muertos, 204 heridos y más de 40.000 hectáreas de bosque arrasadas por las llamas. El segundo en las mediaciones del Parque Natural de Doñana: Sin víctimas mortales pero con casi 8500 hectáreas quemadas.
The truth is that when you watch the news and realize that the enormous disaster was caused by a simple fire and behind that fire there's a pyromaniac... the anger and impotence make you forget that the person who had caused it is sick, because you don't understand that someone can be capable of such a huge atrocity.
La verdad es que cuando ves las noticias y te das cuenta del tremendo desastre causado por un simple fuego y que detrás de él está un pirómano... la rabia e impotencia hace que se te olvide que la persona que lo ha provocado está enferma, porque no alcanzas a entender que una persona sea capaz de provocar semejante atrocidad.
