I checked Steemit for the first time in a while and the payouts for posts are very high. If you talk about how great Steemit is and feed the echo chamber while ignoring the issues, you can make over $1,000 on a post, and you can keep those rewards your support-base allocates to you! Wow! Isn't that something! Great right?
If you get high rewards for a post from your supporters, are you being allowed to keep those rewards (so long as you're not breaking the rules of no spam, plagiarism, etc. or not getting a whale upvote)?
Is anyone still being targeted for posting content and getting rewarded? Or is it just me? LOL! The trending page doesn't seem to have much flagging there. But the last time I tried to make no-steemit related posts on various topics for a week, I kept getting flagged. I was just using the posting feature on Steemit, and getting supported by various people, yet I wasn't being allowed to keep the rewards from my support base, while others who made more on their posts were allowed to keep the rewards they were allocated, yet people claimed I was being "over rewarded" and justly flagged...? What?
People post a few lines of info they got from other sites, with some pics, and they get to keep their rewards from their supporters, without flags from the power elite for them being "over rewarded" for their posts. But I do similar, get info, make posts with some pics, but I'm not allowed to keep the rewards from the users who allocate rewards.
Has the Steemit management by power players changed?
Can users post, and keep their rewards, or are the wealthy feudal lords still targeting users just because they like to pick on people and abuse their power?
If I don't talk about being flagged, and still get flagged, will I ever stop getting flagged? I wasn't talking about the flagging issue when I first started getting flagged for posting and getting support and rewards.
Can I start posting like everyone else and be treated with the same rules of the Steemit economic model where people support your work and allocate rewards to you? Or am I still the target of unjust abuses where power players can "unbuy" and unallocate the rewards other users have voted on to "buy" my content in terms of allocating rewards through their upvotes?
Can this broken philosophy of individual power abuse be corrected on the blockchain? It doesn't seem like it, but the issue is still there, and will continue to be if it can't be coded into the blockchain to resolve it. So what is to be done? Those who get targeted by flagging just have to take it, or leave? Is that the message of the Steemit philosophy? Is this what the bottom line is? On Steemit, is the official policy and philosophy that if you get targeted by power players for flagging, you just have to take it or leave? Really?
If I don't talk about flag-club, do I not get targeted by flag-club? I tried that for a week, and it didn't work either...
But hey,
I can test again to see if things have changed. How will things goes the next time I try to do like all other users who post? Will I be allowed to keep the rewards you provide?
But for now.. some questions to those who do upvote this or that post I make:
Do you support this post with an upvote?
If I post other content, do you upvote to support those posts?
Or are you just looking for curation rewards and don't really care?
Do you support power players taking away the rewards you allocate with your votes?
Thanks! Peace.
P.S. I didn't read the comments on the previous post, sorry to any supporters. I will get around to it and possibly write a post to respond.
