Every trend and behaviour pattern has a causal origin that is within us collectively somewhere and while large-scale social change typically involves many causal pathways - there are often causes that are prominent and obvious. In the case of the so called 'Sexual Revolution' of the 1960s, one name from the previous decades stands out as being highly relevant: Alfred Kinsey.
A Documentary, originally aired in Britain in 1998 exposes that far from being 'solid science' his two famous books 'Sexual Behaviour in the Human Male' and 'Sexual Behaviour in the Human Female' did in fact rely in part on data provided by long term child abusers who were responsible for hundreds of cases of child rape and who Kinsey and his team protected from any prosecution. The interviews with members of his own team make clear that not only did Kinsey promote adult sex with children and even babies - but he himself would have sex with 'everything'.

Sexual repression was commonplace in the 1940s (and earlier), such that there was effectively an unspoken 'war on sex', just as today there is an overt 'war on drugs' that fails continuously and which itself ruins lives and causes untold heartbreak. Alfred Kinsey, like many others, wanted to change that as he saw the obvious damage and backwardness that such repression causes. As living beings, our literal origin is from orgasms and sexual energy - thus to artificially repress such energy and even blame/guilt self and others just for being sexual creatures is entirely destructive and heartless. Kinsey came from a strict Christian family and it is likely that the control he felt as a child acted as a catalyst for him to want to break through the prevailing beliefs and behaviour patterns that governed sexual and human behaviour at that time.
He became a Professor of entomology and zoology, plus a sexologist working out of the Indiana University.
The Kinsey Reports
Using funding from the Rockefeller Foundation, he carried out long term research into human sexuality which involved removing all limits from sexual behaviour, even going into acts which were illegal at that time. The illegal nature of his research meant that his team operated a policy of silence regarding who was involved and what they did within the research process. He is credited with breaking down several common and incorrect beliefs at that time regarding male and female sexuality - including ideas that today seem absurd, such as that 'women are not sexual'.
His books sold in very large numbers and once digested by society, began to change the patterns of human behaviour that until that time had been rigid and even religious in many ways. It is likely that his work did indeed have a significant role in triggering the sexual revolution that began in the 1960s and the effects of which can still be seen today.
Controversy and Illegality
As can be seen in the documentary below - Much of Kinsey's work was illegal at the time and some of it would still be illegal today. In fact, some of his research appears to have crossed lines which the vast majority of us would find repulsive. Chapter 5 of his first book contained notes from a serial child abuser who had been allegedly trained to record his abuse in a scientific way so that the 'scientists' could gather data to further their research! This includes tables that are claimed to show the length of time taken to bring children of various ages to orgasm, including babies. In other words, he was working with criminal, child rapists and having them perform sexual acts on children in order to learn about children's sexuality.
It is also stated that he himself had had sex with hundreds of humans (and possibly animals) before he was even a full adult. As part of his 'research' he made many porn videos which covered a wide variety of sexual behaviour - including numerous masochistic sessions.
His team publicly claimed that they never motivated any child abusers to act to harm anyone and they simply sought to record data about the actions - presumably in order to learn about the issue and possibly resolve it. However, a court case in Germany of an ex Nazi who abused many children showed that he was providing data for Kinsey in America and he made the claim that Kinsey specifically had asked him to abuse children for him.

Claims relevant to today's politics
In our current day of politics that is so interested in gender confusion and in some cases in attempting to 'normalise' adult sex with children, it is important to understand how such movements evolved in our past - so that we can clarify the origins of some of the beliefs involved. I have often heard of various politicians and even pressure groups claiming that adult sex with children of young age is perfectly normal and their sentiment echoes the ideas of Alfred Kinsey, who stated that adults causing children to orgasm is a good thing for the child's development into adulthood. Given the implications of such claims, I feel that learning about Kinsey's obvious disregard for the free will of some of those involved and his apparently imbalanced obsession with sexuality is a valuable lesson for if we are to find true balance.
Something that is clear in the documentary is that there is a kind of cold hearted 'scientific' rationalization occurring in his team which is reminiscent of so many other such teams in the 1950s who in some cases had no problem with deliberately causing the death of unknowing members of the public just for their research on particular important subjects - My recent post on The Plutonium Files covers one such case of note. Ironically, I am clear that it is the unfeeling and uncaring mentality demonstrated by Kinsey that is itself the cause of so many of our problems on Earth - so his actions, while correcting some of the errors of previous generations, apparently can only be said to have truly helped humanity if we now look again at them and identify, honestly, the ways in which he failed those involved.
His claim that children should be sexually stimulated and that they can consent just fine to such actions is precisely the message of the paedophiles that were presented in the Australian documentary from several years ago that aired on mainstream TV. What such claims often omit to consider is that children are not as aware as they need to be in many cases, of the full ramifications of such interactions and may not fully understand their experiences until much later in life. It is obvious that many such adults have significant healing to go through before they can be at peace. It is also fairly clear that the adults involved who make such claims about children's sexuality are seeking to be able to proceed with adult/child sex out of their own desires to do so and thus any claims about the alleged developmental benefits of such actions in children must be treated with extreme caution. In a sad way, the dynamics here mirror the way that 'medical professionals' have a vested interest in their patients being ill and using drugs, since - for one - the doctors often earn commission for prescribing drugs! Just as there is a massive loss of integrity and consciousness involved with the medical system today, so too is there a similar loss of consciousness and integrity involved with those who advocate for their own 'right' to rape children.
The medical people and the paedophiles will cry that they are only acting with the best of intentions, but we think differently when we are, for example, made aware of the court cases where doctors have admitted in court to falsely diagnosing patients with cancer in order to get paid the massive commissions they earn as a result of chemotherapy being prescribed.
