I have so many things to be thankful for. - So let me share with you the grandest Thanksgiving you'll ever see.
For many, Thanksgiving is just a dinner/party. For us Members of MCGI, (Members, Church of God International), it's full of heart-warming activities to recognize God's goodness and glory!
FOR A QUARTER WORTH CELEBRATING: MCGI’S SPECIAL THANKSGIVING OF GOD’S PEOPLE SET ON DEC. 22 TO 24.
What will take place a few hours from now:
This 3-day quarterly event will start with the congregational singing where we'll enjoy singing soulful songs of praise, reinforcing our beliefs and faith in God.
The stage will be full of brethren who'll offer special songs of thanksgiving as their groups are called upon one after another. The first group to offer their song is usually the KNC (Kawan ng Cordero/Flock of Lamb) group. It's so nice to hear songs of praises coming from children!
Those who won't fit on the stage can still sing and dance on the side or at their respective seats. The congregation has grown so much internationally and this is one obvious thing we are thankful for.

Bro. Eli Soriano, the Overall Servant of MCGI usually greets the brethren from different parts of the world and introduces the topic that will be discussed during the main part of the program.
This is not your ordinary sermon! - He shares deep, insightful, logical doctrines from the Bible. It's hard to explain how happy we are everytime we hear God's words through him.

Brethren who are too far away from the central church in Apalit, Pampanga join the celebration as well from thousands of different locations in the Philippines and around the world.

Bro. Daniel Razon, our vice overall servant, takes part not only in delivering the topic but in offering songs of praises as well. Undoubtedly, these are among the happiest moments in our lives! He always says that he's not a professional composer but he writes songs with relatable, inspiring and unique lyrics that most of us can sing easily. It's not easy to keep from being emotional as the melody soars and expresses our deepest love and trust in God.
In my next post, I will share with you yet another reason why we are so thankful. The location/country where Bro.Eli started preaching the word of God many years ago was actually written! This incredible discovery has been shared with us by Bro.Eli and it proves to us undeniably that God blesses him and this congregation. Please stay tuned.
Happy International Thanksgiving brethren!
