Kala Ghoda Visual Art Festival - Keeping Art Alive -In Mumbai City -Part 1 🌳🌞πŸ”₯πŸŒͺ🌎

This is one of the yearly Art festival which is held in Mumbai city. It is called the Kala Ghoda Art Festival. Kala (Black) Ghoda(Horse) a multicultural festival is held for a duration of 9 days. Every year there is a theme focusing on the environment and this year it is all about "Keeping Art Alive". This year, it commemorated 20 years of this iconic festival. 20 years ago this festival was started with the idea of giving back to the city.

This festival also provides a platform to a lot of budding artists in the field of art, music, theater, and cinema. There are various artist new and the seasoned ones who come and perform at the festival. It is Mumbai city's one of the favorite festival and we eagerly look forward t it every year. Also it is good to see how the younger generation is mindful about the environment and the change they want to bring in.

Since this is a huge one, I will present it in 2 parts today & tomorrow.

This particular installation, the message here is about preservation of our marine life. Our oceans are getting polluted and marine life getting impacted. This is a message of sustainable fashion and other innovative ways to make our planet healthy again.

This is a message again about nurturing the marine life rather then entangling it

This weaving fabric is giving the message about water conservation. The message is very good here "It's not just a drop in the Ocean, but the mighty Ocean in the drop that matters"

This was a little complicated to understand. It is about Time, how it's slipping by and we have so much to do. We are wasting our time after trivial matters and missing out on the things that we need to focus on.
It says "Simply listen to the sound of silence within, pause and know thyself."

I found this art work very intense. It is about the union of two souls that have evolved at all levels, each separate but finally reuniting into one and giving rise to the kundalini energy. Once the 2 souls merge with each other they experience love in all of it's depth and pure contentment.

Can you guess, what is this. It's a baby in the womb. The "Uber Connect" The strongest connect that this universe has ever had. The Umbilical cord. I loved this one.

In this picture it is clear.

This image symbolizes about maintaining a balance in life. We need to balance our needs and it's impact on our environment and realize that there is a connection between everything that exist in nature.
