So we have another question of the week or QOTW by @ecotrain. I found their question very nice and it feel's like each question there's humanity. True that I joined them not for long but still I'm so happy that I encountered these guy's in @ecotrain. so anyway here's some of my story...
It's inappropriate to say "someone" I meet here because as time steeming on steem I meet lot of friends. But actually before I've meet these awesome guy's there's a one person who always encourage me and even supported me. When I joined steem I was like an ignorant minow don't know where to go and don't kmow what to do. I didn't much about in steem and even today I wouldn't say I know much here in steem. Before when I joined steem it's not a hindrance for having a low RC and low SP because I can post and comments a lot. Yeah I did lot of post when I just arrived at steem. But it didn't earn much because I haven't caught lot of audience of my writings and photos.
Have you read the story of Icarus's? Of course you all did for sure, it's an old story in Greek Mythology. I can compare myself like Icarus, I want to soar up high even though I know that I was new here and have a low SP. Well who doesn't want to have lot of audience and lot of upvote's. I tried to climb up and want to feel how does it feel to be in top. But when I was there I was jealous, I was being devoured with disappointment. "Why they earned a lot and why I don't?" That's the question came into my mind. Simply because I was ignorant how the steem work's. That was the reason I left steem for awhile, I was discouraged.
I think it's on me about in love in writing, that's why I went back. When I went back I meet @johndoer123. He's a nice person, he supported me and teach me lot of things in steem. He invited me to play steemmonster with his own deck. I played and I meet lot of people discord of teampossible. I was hesitate to join the server because I'm not good in talking with newly person. But then my friend john told me to go out and enjoy. I still can remember his words even though it happened for long. The words of john encourage me to meet different people in steem by joining different server. I know it's hard but I manage to be fit or adopt their community. John help me a lot in steem and teach me everything.
When I joined many server's in discord from my fellow steemians. I learned something behind this hardship in earning of steem. One way to find earning's on steem are community. By joining community and by engaging someone's post it help's my exposure in steem. Then by joining community I discovered that friendship is one of the key to enjoy in steem. You might not earn much but as long as you have friends, you can do well in steem. Never underestimate the power of the people, they can change lives. I'm one of those people who change in steem. I began to be confident in my writing skill's and confident to approach people by saying "hello."😀
Steem inspired me to keep on writing and to keep on doing what I wanted to do. This mindset help's me a lot, many steemians noticed my writing, so sometime's I earned but still it's reality so there will be time that it won't. Well, it's unavoidable but as long as your intention in staying in steem is nice. Many people will support you, like now I have riddle game and there were nice people in steem sponsored my 'RIDDLE' game. But it's not that big anyway, as long as I can make other people enjoy the game and I'm enjoying. I couldn't ask for more but to appreciate what steem community give me too much joy.
Now I'm in the server of lot communities in discord. Sometimes I can talk in voice even though I felt shy. But my confidence now starting to grow, unlike before. So steem help me to build my confidence, enhance my writing skill's, approaching people, meeting new friends and there's a lot more. That's why whatever happened of that hardfork. I'm sure of it that I'll stay as long as the steem platform will alive.
