Last week I saw a beautiful photo of a creek in Taiwan printed on a drink container. I quickly snapped a shot of it using my phone. I went home and found the directions to the hidden spot thanks to bloggers, and thus began my journey to this recluse location.
The instructions said the location is near a certain electrical pole, which I never found. It turned out that the number on the pole had changed. There was a rope tied to the guard rails on the side of the road, leading down to the creek. It looked too dangerous at the time, so I walked along the road until I found a more accessible way.
Here's the photo I took of the creek:

For future explorers, here's the approximate GPS coordinates of the secret creek access: 24.94331, 121.42175!
There are some nice small waterfalls nearby along the creek as well, which I stopped to photograph on my way back to the place I parked.

Thus completes my scouting trip to this new location, apparently the best times to photograph are in April and August, and in the early morning when the sun casts multiple rays through the trees. I will have to go back and attempt this shot!
