The sexual abuse and exploitation of children is widespread – it is global and traverses all social classes and groupings. Statistics lead NAASCA (National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse) to state “it's conservatively believed that in today's society 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys WILL BE sexually molested before they are 18 years old”. These are figures for the US – globally it is hard to imagine them being any less, indeed these are conservative figures and the true picture is likely to be very much higher. The impact of even a seemingly 'small' incident like a grope or a 'misplaced' hand or finger, can utterly shatter a child's world – for example coming from a parent or teacher, corrupting and confusing the child's sense of 'trust' and 'love' before they have had a chance to develop. The child is hopelessly unable to articulate or emotionally process what is going on. The experience remains an unacknowledged and shameful secret, the wound festers.
The effects of CSA (Child Sexual Abuse) are far reaching and often manifest as dis-ease of the mind and/or body as the victim goes through life. The child victim of abuse oftentimes may grow into an adult abuser as the cycle spirals on. Memories and experiences of abuse can be very difficult to access and heal from as they have so many layers of protection and concealment in the psychological makeup of the abused person. Untangling the mess is a painful and very difficult process. For the most part, victims of CSA live with acute effects of the trauma throughout life and may at best receive some partial help, some little sympathy. They may be told to 'get over it' or that 'it happened a long time ago' – these are statements of a world that does not wish to acknowledge the phenomena, or else considers it to be someone else's problem. Tragically, many survivors of CSA turn on themselves. There is constant and merciless background radiation.
What is it about the phenomenon of (ab)using a child in a sexual manner? It seems to be less about pure lust and more to do with Power and Control. It is certainly not mutual (although abused children may over time and with repeated abuse, develop some feelings of pleasure and may even initiate in a twisted attempt to please or receive some attention - this confuses the picture even more!). The child is weak, vulnerable and may not have their emotional needs fulfilled (attention, love, acknowledgement etc) in their primary environment (which may also double up as the abusive environment). Such children are easily manipulated into situations where they can be exploited – they are needy, and an adult can easily 'fake' the appearance (promises) of meeting their needs. Their 'childlike' innocence is exploited, the energy of youth is stolen (or systematically extracted).
90% of child sexual abuse victims know the perpetrator and 68% are abused by family members. The perpetrator may be an opportunist who feels their own life to be out of control and seeks gratification from an easy target. The perpetrator may themselves have been sexually abused as a child and have a deep sense of 'normalcy' about doing to another what was done to them. I am not trying to dissect the phenomenon of CSA, just to introduce the subject and lead in to the point of this post.
Most mainstream reports of CSA revolve around institutions (schools, religious institutions, orphanages, 'care' homes etc). The BBC Jimmy Saville scandal blew the lid off something that had been going on for a long time, and something that many people in high places were aware of but did nothing about. It indicates the likelyhood of something much BIGGER, something systemic rather than just institutional - the submerged 90% of the iceberg with powerful vested interests and long tentacles! It points to the possibility of a widespread and organised harvesting of children. It points to complicity at the highest level imaginable! Although sexual 'gratification' may seem to be the primary driver here, it would appear that there is a lot more going on in the dark waters where the submerged iceberg resides. This is the leap - from the perception of CSA being a 'freak' and relatively isolated phenomenon, to seeing it as something potentially far more widespread and organised than the mainstream picture suggests. If this concept is new to you, or comes across as far-fetched bullshit, you may be at a crossroad of perception, where old beliefs of how the world is organised get a nice little kick up the arse! One is free to look away too of course - such has been the collective human response to the phenomenon in the past - we just haven't had access to information, and to sources - but consciousness and awareness is lifting, as are the veils and masks of concealment.
When a child is sexually abused, childhood ends abruptly, their universe irrevocably and traumatically shattered - it is an ALMIGHTY attack. The under-developed mind cannot cope with what is happening and this is where compartmentalisation and splitting take place. The experience is too intense, there are no tools to process what is going on, no guidance. Behavioural changes may not be picked up by an uncaring world, or else blame for this placed on the victim without investigation - no support! Denial and inner burial take place; being is shut up and locked away in some remote corner where it is safe and 'protected'. The 'real' self isolated, a multitude of 'fake' selves the replacement. Life-force, the pristine energy of youth has been extracted, leaving behind a shell. To grow up with this deep inner rift, to become cognisant of it and to try and heal it, is an IMMENSE undertaking. To do this, to be able to articulate one's experiences, as well as the process of 'waking up' and healing, with the intention of helping others... well this is what @kida has been writing about!
I first came across @kida in a post by @cmoljoe, who was concerned that kida might have left Steemit as a result of being discouraged by a lack of support. Happily, kida is back after an absence of almost 4 months, and his/her story now continues to be told: "I had to take a break to work on a project and process some more memories. I plan to continue writing more over the summer." This post is also a celebration of kida's return to steemit 🔆 🔆 🔆 .
In his/her introductory post, entitled Hello, I am a survivor of ritual abuse and I'm here to expose their systems, @kida writes:
When I was a kid, I was taken to a house by a lake in the UK where children were abused in an organized, ritualized process. I have joined Steemit to talk about how these networks of abusers exist within the context of an abusive society, and to describe and deconstruct their methods of torture, coercion and psychological conditioning.
I hope my account can be used by others to piece together their own stories and share information on the systems used by our abusers.
I want to talk about how networks of abusers in the UK specifically pick out children who are non-conformist and target them for the most aggressive torture. I will describe how this process is used to maintain power systems and hierarchical control by splitting the psyche into fractured compartments. I will also look at how this associative-conditioning is used to destroy children's ability to make changes in our corrupt societies. And how this is directly tied to our political and judicial institutions.
In short, I will recount what is going on here in early 21st Century Earth.
There has been a lot of recent interest in the Steemniverse regarding @fulltimegeek's quest to raise awareness about #donaldmarshall and what he has to say about the dark and hidden agendas of the 'ruling elite'. Amongst others, sexual abuse and torture is used as a deliberate and systematic means of splitting and mind-control. Here's a post by @shayne titled An Introduction To MKUltra: What We DO Know. What kida is exposing seems to be contiguous with all of this and I have added the tag #donaldmarshall to this post.
I invite and encourage you to see for yourselves, starting with kida's intro post. The revelations (same with the #donaldmarshall ones) may appear incredible, but if we consider how many lies we have been told, it is actually a lot less so. When the lie gets to be BIG enough, it can remain concealed in broad daylight. However, IMO, times are changing - awareness is spreading and consciousness is being raised.
I salute brave voices like @kida with great admiration and respect. Kida expresses not just the first-hand experience of the trauma, but also presents a living example of how the self/being/consciousness can rise above such intensity of suffering and shine as a model for others! Kida states that he/she has experience/training in the psychotherapeutic process, this comes across very clearly in the presentation, and is a factor of how powerful his/her material is.

Thanks for reading
Namaste!
