Another Survivor of Institutional Child Abuse In A British Children's Home Speaks Out - "It was like a rape factory"...

In the wake of recent news that Alleged British Government Child Abusers will be compensated - Yet another survivor of large scale child abuse in Britains child 'care' home system has spoken out...

Far from being a caring space for healing and learning, many of Britain's children's homes are in reality places where children are abused and raped - possibly far more than they would have been if they had stayed with their abusive family! Many parents and child survivors have spoken out in the last few years about their experiences - yet the response from 'government' is more indicative of a gang of criminals covering their tracks than of genuinely caring people wanting to solve a problem.

A Rape Factory That was Like a Sweet Shop For Child Abusers

Graeme Sergeant told the Surrey Mirror of his time in the 1960s spent at 'Beechholme' Children's home in England. He descibed being routinely stripped naked, abused and forced to perform sex acts on groups of adults when he was as young as 5 years old. He states that this was a common occurrence with lots of others involved who apparently never spoke out previously about their abuse.

The 'Children's Village' had 23 different houses, all acting as homes for vulnerable children and Graeme says this acted as a magnet for child abusers who viewed it as a kind of 'Sweetshop' for child rapists.

"Beechholme made me so insecure," said Graeme. "You don't trust people, because the people you trusted have abused you and your trust. It is a horrific memory."

Grame has now set up a support and pressure group for those who claim to have been abused at Beechholme which can contacted by emailing: [email protected]
