The outpouring of Support for the Minnow Support Project has been fantastic! As you may have heard the Discord Channel is over 1,000 people. It's now at ~1150 people (150 person increase since yesterday). It's filled with kind hearted people interested in helping others grow out of minnnowhood.

Sunday writing lesson with @swolesome
@swolesome runs a contest that gets a lot of love, and has been doing a great job writing, winning MSP contests, and getting out there. We're supporting him to offer a lesson tomorrow at Sunday 6/25/17 at 3:15pm EST in the General Voice talk channel on writing and running contests. Please stop by!
Don't spam the whales
We have some awesome whales and dolphins that have joined us. They want to help you too. Please don't write them directly just because they are in the room. Dolphins and especially whales are obessive curators. They'll find your content so please don't hit them with a post you want them "just to review," upvote, resteem, read, lick, or looking for follows. If they like your work you'll find them behind your post.
A few new Channels
We've added a contest channel, and a social mission channel. These are good posting channels. Many minnows run contests to help other minnows. It's a fun way to try to grab an audience. Because these posts have a particular benefit to the community you can post contest posts there. Same with social mission posts. Want to plant trees? What to help people from India have access to toilets? There are good contests in there to help fulfill a social mission with your upvotes.
We also added a women-only and a men and trolls channel. They are good places to meet new faces.
Peer Review facelift
You can now get more help with your writing. There's a post review section and there are a team of people that will review your posts and give you constructive criticisms.

Contest winner
@stargarden won a contest by the steemsports crowd (who have started their own channel in the PALnet Discord channel). Star is committed to helping other minnows in the Minnow Support Project and is planning on supporting the other members, especially the greeters that work hard every day to make this place awesome, hopefully you guys find an extra whale swimming in your posts!
@gmuxx and @varunsangwan (Mr. Dark in Discord) won a 2,000 SP delegation from @acidyo. Congrats to @gmuxx. I'm sure there's many minnows happy to know you're there to help them anyway and now it's better cause you got 2k SP to lift them up with.
Membership change proposal
Streemian hasn't been working great as a tool now that HF19 has been implemented. I'm considering moving over to a tool called Vessel put out by @jesta. This is a wallet that has the easy ability to delegate SP. With this membership would still require steemvoter, but we'd get away from streemian.
New Ranks would be added for those that have delegated 50 SP, 500 SP, 1000 SP, 5000 SP, and so on as necessary.
The two benefits, when streemian is working it drains all the voting power of the people that have supported it now... so, that's not ideal because you can't place strong upvotes on posts anymore. This way you can keep your voting power up.
It's like steroids for the bot. If we all pitch in a little bit of love to the bot everyone gets a stronger bot supporting this community.
A downside is that you need a certain amount of SP before you can do it, but membership won't be based on this... only what tier of membership you have. We'll make special categories for people that delegate higher to help curate them and people that give more will get better exposure in the channel. Should be fun.
