Today I'm going to translate one of my favorite Persian songs for you guys. This is a pretty old song but I still enjoy listening to it because it has a lot of truth in it! ENJOY!!!

Do not worry, actor... we are all like each other! Every morning when we wake up, we wear a mask on our faces. One becomes a teacher and one becomes a house keeper. Another becomes a song writer while the other becomes a poet. The old mask of life remains on our faces until the night. But the cries behind the mask are always silent as usual.
Whoever you are, suddenly rise from behind of the mask! Do not read from the writings! Leave the sleepiness. Draw a well on the pole of the cage. Just for once! Breathe for yourself!
I wish it was possible in life that we were just ourselves. Only for a sight or even for a breath. How long is our mask going to speak instead of us? How long is the silence and making epopee is going to be my character?
