A traffic jam lasted for more then 10 days, with cars moving only 0.2 to 0.6 miles a day! It was between China National Highway G110 and Beijing-Tibet expressway on 14 August 2010. Reason: heavy coal trucks heading towards Beijing, along with National highway’s maintenance work which was in progress. The gridlock was stretched for over more than 100 km. Better brought your pillow!
