I've been running around this website for a month now, so far the experience has been very rewarding, literally.
I started posting artworks and some travel photos that I had capture before. Also posted numerous howtos/tutorials. Tried to make a series post, as well as join contests and challenges:
I created @philippinetrail to try help fellow Filipinos, project hasn't launched yet cause I'm still short of followers there but it's been doing good: Upvoting, resteeming and commenting. It just needs more SP.

The whale status is going to be really hard to achieve especially for a broke minnow like me. I've just started, a month is a short time that has gone by fast. There are others that started the same time as me and they're dolphins now. I'm gonna catch up soon though. With a little extra hard work, dedication and patience, this minnow will persevere and expect that it will be an awesome month.
