Before Tom even got up to help James had already delivered a couple of heavy kicks into the guards abdomen, forcing him to bend over in pain. James didn't hesitate to get his hands around the guard's neck and snap it, making sure to hold on tight to the dead body for it not to hit the ground too hard and make too much of a sound. When Tom got close the deed was already done. The guard was dead, and his gun already behind James' belt.
They contemplated getting his uniform for a second, but to strip him of his uniform and then for one of them to change into it would take too much time and would be too great a risk. It would most certainly be a valuable asset that would unlock many doors, but it was too risky. They decided to get ahold of two uniforms – not just one – at a later time and just get rid of the body as fast as possible before someone notices it. The little closet that Tom was hiding behind seemed like a good fit. Tom picked up the body by the legs and dragged it over to the closet while James opened the doors, threw out the insides – there were only a couple tools in there – and took out the shelves to make room for it to fit. They dumped the body into the moldy closet and dropped the tools along with it. There was nothing in the closet that they could use.
