With @eco-alex proposing and working towards -
I have been posting about a new Steem ecoVillage concept based on the gift economy. I am working hard behind the scenes to manifest a solid vision and way to make this happen that will allow anyone with the desire to live in a totally off-grid community based on Earthship Biotecture. This is a an exciting project with huge implications for anyone wanting to embark on the quest to create community and live off-grid and self sufficiently. I will be posting soon with more detail on this, and have already received so much support from my initial posts that I am very optimistic that I will find all the people and support I need to complete this mission from the Steem community.
The Question of the Week has been centered around the ecoVillage with the last QOTW being...
The three things that are most important to you in your ideal ecoVillage

This week @eco-alex asks:
What does your perfect day look like in the ecoVillage of tomorrow?
Feel free to add your response - details here
In my perfect day, for life in an ecoVilliage, there would be options to either spend time with your family or in your individual home or in community places like the community kitchen, permaculture/food forest gardens, or gathering places.
I do enjoy my privacy and being able to greet the dawn in solitude with some meditation. Then I would like a walk-a-bout in my private garden surrounding my home taking care of whatever needs attending to.
Breakfast could be at home or with folks preparing their breakfast together in the community kitchen.
I do like preparing food and eating together! Dining communally!
Once cleaned up, it would be off to check out the community permaculture/food forest garden – working there in the cooler part of the day.
The harvest would be bought into the community kitchen and prepared for meals or storage.

Then the option would be there for a community lunch sharing in our bounty!
I may want a break after lunch for more meditation or reading, etc. or the time visiting with village members over lunch may be enough of a refresher before the afternoon activities.
The rest of the afternoon would be spent on your occupation - whether you are an educator, artist, mechanic, medicine maker, whatever you wish to occupy your time with. There would be option to work communally on these too!
Then most of us would gather for an evening meal and some comradery, being able to discuss about the day and the going ons in the village. There could also be special music nights or other events or at the end of the day there could be group meditations.
Then home, content, ready to rest and prepare for another perfect day in the Eco-village!
