If you had participated in my AskSteemit "contest" in this post, you'd realize its been a week now but i haven't announced any "winners" for the contest. I've been causing headaches to myself trying to rack my brain for a way to keep true to my promise but i've resigned to this failure i am faced with.
I originally promised a 10 SBD prize for the "1st place" winner and a subsequent two 5 SBD prizes for the 2 runner ups. however when i received the payouts it didnt hit that number.
and things are even worse for me because the author reward is split 50/50.. so overall i only ended up with
no-go...
But i really wanna keep this going. And as the wise people always said. "The first times are usually the worst". So instead what i want to do is to not give up and tidy up things a bit.
Because i have also realized that really i can't place any definite "winner". Afterall everyone shared deep and meaningful insights and these insights will affect someone reading the post. (and even if the answer isnt "meaningful", you know who you are, at least you participated and that's a vote of confidence to my small little initiative).
And so i decide that EVERYONE who qualifies for the prize will get an equal share of the liquid SBD reward. Sounds fair?
To qualify for the prize, you only need to upvote, comment your answer and resteem. So 5 Steemians have qualified for the prize.
8.121SBD / 5 people = 1.624 SBD per person. Small amount for everyone, not bad for a first time right?
