Hello, my dear friends,
we are continuing our fascinating journey to Peru and tribes of Indians. In the first part I told you about Lima - @terrycraft/shamanic-journey-through-the-ghetto-of-peru-and-not-only-shamanskoe-puteshestvie-v-peru-featuring-njall-as-author
And here we are continuing our way. The next place we visited was Iquitos, "the city of shamans", since there are really lots of them (or those, who claim to be "shamans", which are the majority of them). Also, there is a plenty of retreat centers, Indians, and it is possible to reach remote villages and settlements from the local harbor.

И вот мы продолжили свой путь, дальше нас ждал Икитос, город известный как "город шаманов", потому что здесь действительно много "шаманов" (или тех людей которые выдают себя за них, их гораздо больше), ретрит-центров, индейцев и из местного порта можно добраться до дальних деревень и поселений.
Of course Iquitos is a far cry from Lima! What a wonderful place it is! We came to the place late at night; huge cockroaches were sneaking about the tiny airport, and I remember the moment when we got off the plane - it was pitch dark, foggy, the smells of jungle and mystic, mystery and adventure in the air - unforgettable!

Конечно Икитос это не Лима! Удивительное место, мы прилетели поздно вечером, было темно, огромные тараканы бегали в маленьком аэропорту, и я помню тот момент когда ты выходишь из самолета - темнота и густой туман, и запах джунглей, в воздухе пахнет мистикой, тайной и приключениями, незабываемо!
If Lima didn't look like the place to stay and live, staying in Iquitos I would probably consider.
Если бы в Лиме я не хотел бы жить, то вот над жизнью в Икитосе можно подумать

Pavement cafes is what I likea lot! Locals will surprise you with home-cooked food - from pies to fried piranhas :)
"Кафе на улице" я очень люблю, местные жители порадуют вас хорошей и простой домашней кухней, очень вкусно, есть все - от пирогов до жаренных пираний :)

Later we went to the port
И после мы отправились к причалу
And there we got into a boat and sailed to Indians down great Amazon River... :)
А дальше, мы погрузились в лодку и отправились к индейцам по великой реке Амазонке... :)
